The SHM Integrated PLA Lamination Machine is a flexible, high-efficiency solution designed for dynamic molded pulp tableware manufacturers. It streamlines the transition from Hot Pressing to the final Laminated & Trimmed product, supporting both Full Automation (Robot Integration) and High-Efficiency Semi-Automation.

How Does the SHM PLA Lamination Machine Work?

To maximize production flexibility, we offer two integration workflows based on your existing production line's upstream processes (Pulping - Forming - Hot Pressing).

Option A: Fully Automatic Line (Robot Integrated)

Best for: New factories or fully automated upgrades aiming for minimum labor.

From the Hot Press Station, finished trays are automatically handled without human intervention.

  1. Robot Arm Picking: A specialized robot arm precisely picks the hot-pressed tray.

  2. Synchronized Placement: The robot places the tray directly onto the Lamination Machine's conveyor positioning system.

  3. Automatic Integrated Process: (See below for details: Laminating \to Trimming\to Stacking).


Option B: High-Efficiency Semi-Automatic Line (Conveyor Fed)

Best for: Existing factories optimizing labor cost and improving quality consistency.

This workflow optimizes the gap between manual handling and automated processing.

  1. Manual Feeding: Operators place hot-pressed trays onto the positioning molds of the conveyor belt.

  2. Automatic Transfer: The conveyor belt transfers trays to the Laminating Machine.

  3. Automatic Lamination: PLA film is precisely applied.

  4. Automatic Trimming: Immediate edge cutting after lamination for a clean finish.

  5. Automatic Waste Removal: Trimmed scrap is separated automatically (requires periodic manual waste collection).

  6. Automatic Product Transfer: Finished products are moved out of the station.

  7. Automatic Stacking: Products are organized and stacked for final packing.
